about Me

Hi, my name is Emma Jokinen. I’m a 21-year-old first-generation American currently studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I’m pursuing a degree in the Business of Beauty and Fragrance with a minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty industry because of how it blends creativity, emotion, and identity, the way a campaign, brand story, or visual moment can make someone feel more confident, expressive, or understood.

My interests are centered around marketing and brand storytelling, especially the role they play in connecting people to products that can genuinely impact how they feel about themselves and move through the world. I’m fascinated by how thoughtful messaging, visuals, and strategy can transform something tangible into something meaningful and personal. I naturally gravitate toward being the bridge between brands and consumers, understanding both perspectives and helping create experiences that feel authentic rather than transactional.

I tend to approach my work with curiosity, empathy, and strong attention to detail, along with a deep appreciation for aesthetics and emotional connection. To me, beauty is deeply personal, it influences how people see themselves and how they connect with the world around them. My goal is to positively impact the way consumers interact with brands, creating authentic and innovative strategies that foster stronger connections and inspire confidence.

As I continue to grow, I’m excited to explore opportunities within the beauty industry and collaborate with people who value creativity, authenticity, and intentional storytelling.
